Hostal Mirffo
For our first two nights in Puerto Natales we stayed in Hostel Mirffo which is owned and operated by Hostel Lili-Patagonicos. At first this was a very chill place to stay. There was a great group of people there our first night. The owner seemed nice at first but became less so quickly. Other guests reported trouble with him from the point of registration onward.
The second night two of our new friends had to move because of lack of room. They decided to come back and cook dinner with us again since the first night had been so much fun. At one point that evening the owner's brother came in and demanded that the two of them leave even though they weren't causing any problems. It was only 7 or 8 o'clock and this demand seemed very unreasonable. After dinner we walked down to the ocean and upon returning we found the brother and two goons watching TV and talking loudly in the living room. While cleaning up from dinner the owner came in and began to berate us for the condition of the floor. After we went to bed his brother and company continued to make excessive amounts of noise downstairs disturbing us and preventing easy sleep.
We won't book either of these places again.
